Swimming in Mont Tremblant this Summer

Swimming in Mont Tremblant this Summer

There is no shortage of beautiful and indulgent swimming opportunities in Mont Tremblant. From indoor, resort-style pools to family-friendly beaches, Mont Tremblant has a variety of opportunities to get into the water and cool off.

Aquaclub La Source is one of the more popular resort-style pool offerings in Mont Tremblant and is conveniently open year round. Aquaclub La Source is a kids’ heaven with an environment designed to look like the rocky interior of a natural springs cavern or the forests of the Laurentian mountains. Exciting activities, including a Tarzan-style rope swing, jumping rocks and slides, will keep children occupied and entertained. Wading pools allow young children to have a safe experience while everyone can enjoy the refreshing waterfall, the swimming lanes and Eucalyptus steam baths. The club boasts indoor and outdoor pools and also has hot tubs and a fitness center for the full vacation experience. Visitors can purchase a three-hour pass or get in for the whole day. Prices range from $5.65 to $18.90 depending on age of guest and length of visit.

Enjoy either lake or beach access at the Beach & Tennis Club. I love swimming (especially at sunset) in Lake Tremblant at the Beach & Tennis Club. The atmosphere is perfect for unwinding and enjoying yourself. You can relax after a long swim with juices and snacks from the beach-side snack bar and restaurant or have a delicious Piña Colada or other mixed drink from the bar.

For a more opulent swimming experience, Tremblant Platinum rents a luxury villa called ‘La Reserve’ on the Tremblant Resort. The 7-bedroom, 6-bathroom dream home has a private, outdoors heated pool, a sauna and a hot tub and rents for seven nights or longer during the summer season.

Beaches in Mont Tremblant are typically open from June to August to offer relief from the hottest months of the year.

Plage du lac Mercier Tremblant is a public beach located on Lake Mercier that also has a life guard on duty, picnic tables and washrooms to keep guests clean and ready to explore all that Mont Tremblant has to offer.

Tremblant National Park has six great rivers and 400 lakes and streams to explore but most swimmers opt to visit the two beautiful beaches with exceptionally fresh, clean water. Crémaillère beach in the La Diable sector and Lac-Provost beach in La Pimbina sector are both supervised and serviced for the enjoyment of all visitors.
